What's the strangest thing you've seen a trout do?
Feb 14, 2017 - 9:57 AM - by Bucksnort
Many years ago in Colorado, I was fishing the Frying Pan River just below Reudi (Roodeye) Dam. I was walking on an access road near a gauging station when I spotted two or three good size rainbows in a shallow (maybe 12" deep), slow moving section of the river near the bank. One of the trout had something white and large in its mouth. I was able maneuver in a position where I didn't spook the fish and was able to see what it had. It was a piece of a white grocery bag. Cleaning fly line
Jan 23, 2017 - 7:03 AM - by Derek
Do you guys clean your fly line? If so how?

I was at the local pond a few weeks ago and it felt like my floating line was a little gritty. Still floated fine.

Spring Bass
Feb 21, 2017 - 2:08 PM - by Scout
I'm pretty new to bass fishing, especially on a fly, I'm used to trout in Montana. I've tried the Verde south of Horseshoe and south of Bartlett. I went out today, and got skunked again. Water temp 52 degrees, and a pretty swift current with high water levels. Any tips on where to find bass on the Verde? And if anyone is willing to PM me with a honey-hole or 2, that would be great (I always c&r).
